Ciira Wa Maina

Dr. Ciira Wa Maina is the Principal Investigator at the Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Kenya. His lab develops and deploys responsible AI solutions addressing Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on areas such as environmental conservation, health, and agriculture. The lab also strengthens early-career researcher capacity and contributes to the African AI ecosystem through collaboration with the AI for Development network and other stakeholders.
