Emily Muller

Dr. Emily Muller is the Principal Investigator of the Deep Learning Indaba Artificial Intelligence Challenges, a project that strengthens the African machine learning and AI community through the Deep Learning Indaba conference. The initiative empowers Africans to actively shape AI advancements while building local capacity in responsible AI. AI4D supports the project with scholarships, an annual “Ideathon” for development challenges, and multi-year funding to expand accessibility, mentorship, and operational sustainability across the continent.
