Dr Isaac Rutenberg is the Principal Investigator of the East Africa Policy Centre at CIPIT, Strathmore University. He leads research and policy initiatives advancing responsible, ethical, and inclusive AI in Eastern Africa. The Centre supports policymakers with high-quality research, fosters participatory approaches, and builds regional capacity to shape AI governance and address societal risks and benefits.
