Laure Tall

Laure Tall is the Principal Investigator of the Gender and Responsible AI Network (GRAIN). The network brings together organisations, universities, and innovation hubs across sub-Saharan Africa that are already active or interested in becoming active in the fields of artificial intelligence and gender inclusion.
GRAIN aims to create a platform for learning, collaboration, and advocacy around the intersection of AI, gender, and development. The network works to strengthen dialogue, share knowledge, and propose solutions to cross-cutting challenges at this intersection.
Its work focuses on linking the development of artificial intelligence with the advancement of gender equality across the region. While the network’s immediate focus is on gender inclusion in AI ecosystems, its longer-term vision is to contribute to broader gender equality in the digital and technological landscape in sub-Saharan Africa.
