Across the Caribbean, small island developing states face a compounding health challenge, infectious diseases that interact with high rates of non-communicable diseases, straining health systems already stretched by limited data infrastructure and capacity gaps.

The project deploys AI tools such as natural language processing to digitise and analyse health records alongside capacity building and ethical data governance frameworks to strengthen public health data systems from the inside out.
