AutoAI-Pandemics

Overview

This project is dedicated to making artificial intelligence accessible to non-experts by automating complex epidemiological and bioinformatics analyses and addressing the spread of health-related misinformation.

At the heart of the initiative is Dominique, an AI-powered public health communication tool that analyzes information to detect and flag misinformation, helping users assess the credibility of online content. Dominique has received several recognitions, including the Google Latin America Research Award, the Breaking the Wall of Fake News Competition, and the Prototypes for Humanity Award (2023).

By bridging knowledge gaps between data scientists, policymakers, biologists, and the wider public, the project empowers users to make informed decisions and strengthens trust in digital health information. To date, more than 3,000 people have been reached through the AutoAI Pandemics initiative.
