Overview

DigiCare connects patients with nurses to provide accessible, community-based healthcare, replacing paper-based processes with digital health systems to improve data collection, integration, and analysis. The platform strengthens zoonotic disease surveillance by mapping high-risk areas along Cameroon’s borders, supports maternal health through a WhatsApp-based chatbot delivering timely, reliable information to expecting mothers, and enhances health system efficiency by synchronizing patient data across hospital departments for better coordination and continuity of care.

In addition, DigiCare trains nurses to integrate digital tools into their daily practice and configures health systems to ensure these innovations are sustainable through ongoing skill development and knowledge transfer.
